- ¼ cup (35 g) hazelnuts, soaked 4–8 hours
- ¼ cup (35 g) cashews, soaked for 4–8 hours
- 1½ tbsp (10 g) cacao powder
- 2 dates, pitted
- Pinch of salt
- 750 ml water
- 1 tsp (5 ml) avocado oil
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Plant-based whipped cream, to serve
- Chocolate sauce or melted dark chocolate, to serve
- Chopped toasted hazelnuts, to serve
