Sunflower Seed Milk

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 4-5 servings

Ingredients

• 140 g sunflower seeds (1 cup)
• 1.3l water
• 2 dates

Instructions

1. Place the sunflower seeds in a bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. This step is optional but recommended.

2. Drain and Rinse: After soaking, drain and rinse the sunflower seeds thoroughly under cold water.

3. Add the soaked sunflower seeds and pitted dates into the filter basket.

4. Fill the machine with 1.3 litres of warm or hot water, then attach the top securely.

5. Press the mode button to select "nut milk". Press start and wait for 1 minute until the machine stops completely.

6. Once the machine has stopped, transfer the sunflower seed milk to a sealed container and refrigerate. It will keep for about 3-4 days in the fridge.

7. Shake well before each use, as natural separation may occur.
