Chocolate Balls with Cherries

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Servings: Makes approximately 6 to 7 balls

Ingredients

• 100 ml almond paste (from almond milk with Mylky)
• 4 - 5 pitted dates
• 4 cherries, halved and pitted
• 3 tbsp cocoa powder
• 3 tbsp honey
• 2 tsp vanilla sugar or 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Optional: flour of your choice, as needed

Instructions

1. Prepare almond milk using your Mylky machine. Squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the filter basket to obtain the almond pulp.

2. Combine the almond pulp, dates, cocoa powder, honey, and vanilla sugar or extract. Blend until a smooth batter forms.

3. Scoop approximately half a tablespoon of the batter and roll it into a small ball. Press your thumb into the centre to create a dimple, place a cherry half inside, and reshape to enclose the cherry completely. If the batter is too moist, incorporate a small amount of flour to achieve the desired consistency.

4. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.

5. Place the balls in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Before serving, optionally dust with cocoa powder or roll in coconut flakes.
